We ordered in tonight after a long day out. Ordered just a simple pepperoni pie and some bourbon wings. This was probably one of the best pizzas I have eaten. The dough was crisp, yet soft and chewy. The wings, all flats, cooked to perfection and the glaze was amazing. If you want some good pizza after a day of great Creole food and walking, well, you can't go wrong here.

We were in New Orleans on business with a friend. We were hungry but not familiar with the food in the area. Then I got it: "pizza!" I scrolled the phone and said "pizza near me." A three block walk in a light rain got us to "The Original Italian Pie". It was a cozy place. We ordered at the register and got our drinks. The pizza was ready in under 20 minutes. Hot and tasty. The place was set up for carryout and delivery. There was no way we 3 could eat that monster do we had several slices to take home. Parking: This is in downtown New Orleans. We parked in a parking deck about 3-4 blocks for the pizza place. Kid-friendliness: I would have brought in my kids. Wheelchair accessibility: If you wheel down the sidewalk you can get in the door.
